Experience using Intergraph SmartPlant Instrumentation (Previously known as Intools) modules: Instrument Index, Instrument Spec Sheets, Wiring, Process Datasheets, and Loop Diagrams.Experience with PLC/DCS wiring and layout, instrument loop diagrams.Minimum of 5 years SmartPlant Instrumentation/Intools Experience.
Works with site engineers to update SPI documentation (loop diags, data sheets, etc) according to MOC requirements. Support of multiple SmartPlant interfaces with appropriate focal points. Coordination of concurrent SPI activities. Provides SPI support to the construction and maintenance personnel. Provides SPI support of all control systems design for projects. Monitor project information and compliance by users contributing data. Manages structure and data integrity of the SPI database. 
Ensure that loop drawings are kept up to date in SmartPlant Operations (SPO). Review and approve symbol change requests. Review and approve database change requests. Manages SmartPlant logons and access rights. Research, analyse, organize statistics or other technical materials/reports for specific occasions or on a scheduled basis (KPIs). Provides support for developing custom reports as required. Manage escalation and resolution of database issues, engaging software vendor as required. Manages/Coordinates Instrument Indices/user defined fields. Provides local support associated with updates to SPI software. Develops training plan for engineers, designers, and technicians as needed. Maintain Client’s SPI database seed file and contents. 
Manages As-Built Domains for documentation. Provides efficient data imports and exports. Oversees project initiation and set up in SPI. Customize, maintain, document, and control the local SPI template. Supports engineers, designers, & maintenance staff in the Engineering, Technology, and Projects and Turnaround, and Maintenance departments. Development of new standards and documentation (Owner’s Project Guide for SmartPlant Instrumentation).
